The truth is, I wasn't ready to mass produce or be a business owner. Due to a lack of access to daily products at the time; I started small by selling products to family and friends that asked. In the community I'm from, word of mouth referrals are gold. And word about my products spread fast; it got to a point that I couldn't keep up with requests. Then...I lost a job, and decided to leave my career because it required much of my time, but could not support my family enough financially. I decided to get educated in mass production, formulation and business. If I was going to take my skills and put them into what I had grown to love sharing - I needed to do it right. Most importantly, I wanted to stay true to why I was doing it - support the whole person and cherish what nature gives us. Today we are out a community of beautiful people non-ashy, with healthy hair, stopping to smell the roses, loving ourselves, and smelling good!
